Using the service
You may use MotorChronicleOS for lawful personal vehicle recordkeeping and community participation. You are responsible for the accuracy of information you enter, the security of your account, and activity performed through your account.
No professional advice
Maintenance reminders, calculations, guides, planning tools, and community discussions are informational. They do not replace a manufacturer’s service information, professional diagnosis, inspection, legal advice, insurance advice, or a safety decision. Do not rely on the service to determine whether a vehicle is safe to operate.
Community conduct
Members may not post threats, harassment, hate, sexual exploitation, illegal material, spam, malicious links, impersonation, or content that violates another person’s rights. Forum content may be reviewed, held, or removed. Human staff—not automated moderation—make account-enforcement decisions.
Your content
You retain ownership of vehicle stories, photographs, records, and forum material you submit. You grant MotorChronicleOS the limited permission needed to store, process, display, and transmit that content to operate features you request, including public display when you enable it.
Availability and changes
The service is currently evolving and may change, experience interruptions, or remove preview functionality. Membership descriptions do not create a paid subscription until checkout is explicitly connected and a purchase is confirmed.
Acceptable use and enforcement
We may restrict access when reasonably necessary to protect users, the service, or legal rights. Attempts to bypass authorization, scrape private information, interfere with operation, upload malware, or abuse automated interfaces are prohibited.
Disclaimer and limitation
The service is provided on an “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. MotorChronicleOS is not responsible for vehicle damage, injury, financial loss, lost records, or decisions made from incomplete or incorrect user-entered information.
