Be useful and specific
Share what you observed, what you tried, and what evidence supports your conclusion. Make clear when something is an opinion, a personal experience, or a manufacturer specification. Do not represent guesses as confirmed diagnoses.
Respect people and their vehicles
Disagreement is welcome; harassment is not. Do not target people with threats, slurs, degrading language, stalking, unwanted sexual content, or coordinated abuse. Critique an idea or repair method without attacking the person.
Protect privacy and ownership
Do not publish another person’s address, phone number, email, VIN, license plate, private messages, receipts, or identifying documents without permission. Post only photographs and material you have the right to share.
No dangerous or illegal instructions
Do not encourage street racing, impaired driving, emissions tampering where prohibited, theft, fraud, odometer manipulation, bypassing vehicle safety systems, or work that knowingly endangers others.
Moderation process
Members can report messages privately. Automated review may hold or flag content, but it cannot warn, mute, delete, or ban a person. Authorized staff review context and record enforcement actions. Repeated or serious violations may result in restrictions.
Advertising and spam
Do not flood discussions with repetitive promotions, referral links, deceptive offers, or unrelated commercial content. Genuine recommendations should disclose meaningful relationships with a seller, shop, brand, or product.
